can i lose weight by just like going on daily walks? i don’t have a very active lifestyle. i don’t eat a crazy amount esp considering my stature. i just want to look normal and not have all this torso fat.

go on walks and eat less, the main way to lose weight is to simply have less calories for the day than your body uses.

The cool thing about exercise is it gives you more muscle mass, and muscles need more calories just to exist than fat, so your body will do the work for you by simply gaining muscle. Now be careful because that can also make you more hungry, you have to have a little bit of discipline but it is possible.

If you struggle a lot with losing weight, ask your doctor about getting on glp-1s. They are meant for people with very weak will / who can't fight food cravings or spend the day thinking about food when they try to cut back. Its a bit sad but if you get to the point where your reward system is fucked from overeating, or you snack ALL day and just have tons of little snacks, then you might actually need glp-1s to lose weight

You absolutely need carnitine to burn long chain fat. If you do not have carnitine, your body will shift the metabolic burden to glucose and your fat will just sit there forever.

Your body makes some of it if you get enough vitamin c, iron, vitamin b6, and b3. But you need to get the rest through diet or supplementation.

Take Ozempic or equivalent.
Nobody has to be fat.

i binge rly bad at least once a week :( i have a very bad tendency to eat my feelings.
>>
the other thing is, i could maybe force myself to eat less most days, but i am scared i will permanently fuck up breast development bc i am only 8 months on E. i would rather be fat with normal boobs than a normal weight with messed up boobs

whatever you do don't listen to cow! There is a poster on here who is very weight-gain positive and will just tell you that its fine to binge. There are other ways to cope you can try making a hot bath with scented oils (look up bath bomb) and just put a bunch of nice things that you like in front of you like a movie or even combine them like go exercise, nice bath, movie, maybe goon that day too to help

stoners will say drugs but a lot of sedative drugs actually encourage you to eat more, and stimulants increase anxiety so its not a good idea if you're not already a druggy to start

Here's some tips I can share from both experience and what I learned in /fit/, but these are masc based mostly, however, you should be able to adapt them:
>It's hard to lose weight on cardio alone; you need to walk 9 km or more multiple times a week to see changes, but they hit hard
>even if you manage to do a shit ton of cardio, you will just become skinny, and have a flat shape (not sure if that is your thing), except on the legs
>to lose fat and get a shape overall, you may want to do workouts with weights in general (squats, weight lifting, leg, etc.), but calisthenics are also very useful
>working out with weights or calisthenics also burns calories and therefore fat
>look up for workout routines that target the areas that you want to tone
>cardio walks can reduce muscle gains though, that includes if you are toning things like glutes

Get a calorie tracking app and keep your calories around 1500 a day. You will loose 1-2 lbs a week, so it’s slow going but it’s really the only way other than extreme exercise. I went from 240lb down to 160lb doing this.

Mike likes em big.

In all seriousness though why not use this bulk to become a muscle mommy

Well fat can be used as an energy source and if you’re fat that means your muscles are already working to carry all that weight so yeah I’d say fat people have a good start to becoming muscular if they try. But it is a myth that fat converts into muscle, it doesn’t. It’s just an energy source that helps give you ATP to exercise with and therefore indirectly helps build muscle

no stop it unless you wanna wife me up, i am not a whore

P.S. being fit isn’t just about going on a brief diet and exercising for a few weeks. It’s a lifestyle choice, you need to commit to your health and self-improvement
