I used to agree with you but a life without any form of labor is incredibly sparse and dry. It leads to a bland personality and lack of moral character. I had a NEET bf some years ago and his inability to exist in any kind of society led to genuine life-ruining levels of friction.

A tech worker making $60K right out of college is considered an insult. Most of them are making around $125K. If you can break into FAANG you will easily clear $500K and you will be maximizing your individual damage to society. If you are making $500K/yr (or more) as a drug dealer then you are either working 24/7 to stay ahead of the police or you are going to jail within 2 years.
