Why? I do agree that the story isn't as good as the first game and it has plenty reddit tier writing, but I still found many aspects and moments in the story relatively entertaining. I'd say the story is overall serviceable. I also found the puzzle balance pretty fair. Most but not all regular puzzles were easy but considering how often new mechanics are introduced those easier puzzles are justified. The "secret" and golden door puzzles were generally challenging but nowhere near to one of the dlcs (forgot the name). The first game did have more consistently good puzzles tho but I wouldn't say the second game falls far behind. I also really enjoyed the very over the top worlds, but I think they could also ruin immersion for some.
I just hope they don't drop the ball on the third game.
