I don't know, I feel like as a community we should just collectively agree to never speak to or about kids in any capacity until trans is a normal and accepted part or society. There's just no reason for it. I have never had any desire to even be in the same room as a kid let alone speak to one. Yeah some trans kids might miss out on HRT early but the road to equality is never without sacrifices, you just have to accept that and remember that the end result will be a better future for the next generation.

I would pay almost any price to be cis. Yes, even as my natal sex. Being trans, especially as a late transitioner, is such a fucking miserable experience. I grew up with media that treated trans women as perverted sissy men only good for being the butt of a joke and it (among general childhood trauma) made me rep until testosterone had already raped my body in ways that are either irreversible or stupidly expensive to fix surgically. It's hard to not be bitter, jaded and depressed when your daily reality is visceral disgust at your own body and unlearning all the retarded shit that was imprinted in you in your formative years, while you still have to function like any other grown adult out there.

Being trans sucks, but it's not and never has been a choice, and giving minors access to the information they need to not end up like this is the moral obligation of not just trannies who didn't have the chance, but also the adults in their lifes who claim to love them and are responsible for their well-being.
