Endocrinologist prescribed me 20mg Estradiol Valerate injections once every two weeks which I have to get injected by an on site nurse. My next blood test is scheduled for six months from now.

Two week cycle for Valerate???? For 6 months????? Why can’t I just inject it myself??????

Bitches be talking about switching from a 7 day cycle to a 5 days cycle to avoid the mood swings at the end of the cycle. Maybe I’m just ill informed but a 2 week cycle sounds MISERABLE, and again, WHY CANT I INJECT IT MYSELF???

what country are you in?

and yeah injecting every 2 weeks with valerate is going to create so much hormonal imbalance. i developed fibroadenoma from not keeping up with my injections and it fucked up my levels

>fibroadenoma
i have one too, is it really because i was too depressed n lazy?

America, going through Kaiser Permanente.

Trying to discern whether or not this is the standard BS or if I ended up with a super villain for an endocrinologist. This feels NOT NORMAL.

>Kaiser Permanente
there's your problem

Portland hospitals suck for tranny care.
Providence nearly murdered me for it, I talked to some other trannies abt it and they said similar. Like I had a friend that went there and they said that the nurse threw a menu at them and said
>Are you hungry
and when they asked for a dish they were like
>I didnt ask what you wanted I asked if youre hungry
Then left.
PCPs around here dont seem too bad, nor is the urgent care, but if you go through a major facility its gonna suck ass.
Ah shit my bad its nationwide, but still applicable. These big chain medical care places are god awful and I get better care crom the literal counth clinic.

they develop due to rapid hormone fluctuation.

in my case my theory is that my hormone levels would go down and flatline and then get a huge surge once i finally injected.

anyways if anyones reading this pls dont be retarded like me and always do your injections on time

please literally go to any other endo. find an informed consent clinic and get your meds from there.

having you inject valerate every 2 weeks is like actively harmful. idk how retards in the medical field end up getting degrees and licenses. borderline malpractice

if u live in a hellhole state then diy. your levels are gonna be fucked up and that can mess up results you want. ei fat distribution

yeah this seems completely insane even by endo standards
normally i would say to talk to them first and then go somewhere else if you're not making headway, but this is honestly bad enough that i'd skip that step and just ditch them
