to the bay area tech trannies that might be lurking in this dump, do you have any weird or interesting stories to share regarding working in the bay area?i have been reading about the zizian cult and LW adjacent communities lately. something i couldn't help but notice while diving into this rabbit hole is that a lot of it reads like a modern example of MKUltra Charles Manson-esque debauchery gone wrong except instead of it being channeled into disrupting the antiwar/revolutionary movements of the 60s, its being used to control AI research/tech. people like Geoff Anders, Michael Vassar (has connections to epstein weirdly), psychedelics used to control and "debug" employees at MIRI/CFAR/Leverage that resulted in psychotic episodes, cult leaders sending their pupils on strange 'quests', i could go on and obviously and this is just the tip of the iceberg but it is all very interesting to me.so any noided trannies or people who have interesting stories to share please share them here in honor of october.

>>45158008>>45158008it's kind of hard to talk about because things rarely fit nicely into narratives, and it can be fairly easy to identify peoplebut i have seen so, so many thingson the less psychological-horror side:billion-dollar companies filled with repressors, multiple billionaires with twink harems, incompetent pathological liars, competent pathological liars, everyone is expecting to have less than 1 year of useful work left, so many people who need friends and a hug, everything moving far, far too fast, faster than humans are meant for...if you have not lived here, you very likely do not understand the degree to which it is the center of the world, or at least deeply, deeply believes that it is.
