The reason theres so many unshowered hons is because there is genuinely no reason to shower as a hon. You are not being judged against a human standard.When people look at a cis person, for a man. Is he muscular? Body hair? Balding? Height? etc... For cis women, is her hair well done? How put together is her outfit? Is she wearing makeup? etc...For trans women for example in my own experiance its always my hands that get me clocked. I can see their eyes flick towards my hands. You are having every single thing that can possibly be pulled as proof that you do not pass, and never will trumped up to absurd proportion.And this same cis person will then turn around and say>Look at this tranny. You are not able to fool me I see right through you.You become a prop for the cis person to feel smart.And the more effort you put in the more joy the cis person gets out of seeing through you. The cis person upon seeing a particular masculine trans woman who is effortmaxxing as hard as she possibly can will stand there and say.>Look at all that shit shes doing. And yet its so easy to tell that youre a man. You arent tricking anyone and youre pathetic for trying.As for the trans woman who doesnt shower, doesnt put in effort, doesnt do her hair, doesnt voice train and knows she will never pass. >>45158555I believe in self-care but the difference with cis women is that they are in a positive feedback loop of more effort = greater social awards, sure their moms drilled certain things in them but it's not habit alone it's a whole incentive structure. The most common trope in female fiction of all time is the plain girl having a glow up. But the difference with tranners is that the cis woman even if ugly is unmistakably female and her sex isn't called into question unless it's a gag like in Ouran. Passing is 90% bone structure. I have no regrets transitioning but people should know what they're getting into instead of being hugboxed.
