The Pathologic series of games is based on his doctor's notes during the civil war. Later on he wrote The Master And Margarita which might as well be the magnum opus of all literature ever if not for the fact it was heavily censored and cucked by Soviet authorities and the most common versions you'll find today by far stem from the censored copies. I mean it literally begins with the Devil coming to Moscow to see if the process of turning people atheist is progressing according to plan.
