What are /lit/'s thoughts on reading multiple books at 30-45 min blocks each everyday
>>25297746I do this with five books. Two fiction. One history. One philosophy. One poetry.

>>25297746I'm always reading something like 5 books but I don't have requirements for what they are or how long each session is. I just pick up whatever feels right at the moment.
I can only do two books at a time. I usually read one dense book in print during the day, and then I read something lighter on my ereader before bed. Any more than that and I feel like I get less out of each book
>>25297746I just finished reading Temple of the Golden Pavilion and Universal Baseball Association like that.
Yeah. I have stuff I'm interested in but find difficult to read for long periods, and then stuff which flows more easily. For example, the Tartar Steppe is an easy read. I'm also reading a chapter of Evola's mystery of the Grail and a chapter of 'How to read a book' because I am a goddamned retard per chapter of that.
Could be good. I usually have an easy book and a hard book. Right now that's a biography of Augustus and the works of Aristotle respectively.
Multitasking is idiocy
I do that, I read a mixture of light reads (sci-fi, fantasy, novellas), moderate reads (more challenging fiction, easier history and nonfiction books) and heavy reads (technical books, denser history and nonfiction)
