Do you guys have any good book recommendations about Protestantism and why it has been so successful?I wanted to read about Protestantism and picked up Max Weber's book The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism but it felt comically biased because the first 50 pages of the book was Weber just shitting on Catholics and describing them as subhumans. I didn't like it.

The major factor of its success is political, so find some histories on the 30 years war and the rise of England/Britain, Prussia, and America as major powers.
