Kant's philosophical project was largely intended as a response to Hume's skeptical empiricism. But by the time Kant wrote, Hume was dead. Supposing that Hume had lived long enough to read Kant, what do you think Hume would have written in response? I suspect he would have much to criticize about Kant's transcendental idealism, so what in particular do you suspect would be his lines of attack?
