Have you ever kept books from the library past due till the point they were declared lost? If so, did they come after you via collections? I have a dozen or so books from my universities library and they smacked me with an early return on all of them today, right while I was moving. Several of them I still need for research and others I was still going to return immediately, and others via mail post moving.

I kept a library book past due date once so the library sent Dog the Bounty Hunter to ass rape me.

My condolences.

Once I caught my older brother reading a library book; Past due. By a year. He stole it.

Police were called. I was the one to do it. My mother screamed at me but I didn't care, it was the right thing to do.

Yeah, Voskovec & Werich's stageplays and theater sketches when I was 14 or so. I accidentally got into an extremely bizarre line of dialogue with the local janitor(?) about him also being the school librarian, and borrowed it from the school library at random, it being names I recognized. I wasn't aware you were supposed to return books, the janitor-librarian never explained it to me. I had to make my parents officially pay the price of the book to the school years later, even though I could have just handed it back to them. They never reached out to me about it, and only found out because someone checked the book of visitors, wherein there were maybe a total of 3 people who have borrowed a book, ever.

In case it's not obvious, it wasn't a very good school. At least V&W are hilarious.

>be OP
>be a retard
>check out books from university library
>graduate
>due to the change in your graduation status your need to return the books immediately
>somehow think the university doesn't have enough financial information on you to saddle you with a debt
They'll probably withhold your diploma until you return then KEK

I had a library book (from public library) that I couldn't find. I just told them that and I just had to pay the cost of replacement. I did eventually find it. My mother had packed it away in a storage box with various other items. Public libraries here sometimes have amnesty days where you can return items without having to pay any fees.

In depends on what your university's policy is. Have you checked their website? If you can't find anything there just ring them up and ask.
