This book is the biggest piece of junk I've ever read. All the characters are either pure black or pure white. It's full of anti-monarchist and primitive leftist propaganda that the author is spouting all the time. Fuck Les Miserables.

After reading Toilers of the Sea by Hugo I've been put off from ever reading Les Miserables. His writing style is clunky. He manages to create good imagery and then immediately destroy it.
