/lit/'s favorite mystery novels? I like mystery in games/movies, so I want to give some novels a try. I tried Google for good suggestions, but it was all bullshit from feminist literature blogs. So far I've read the Sherlock Holmes novels (the first collection before Doyle started to write them again due to popular demand), and Murder on the Orient Express (thought it was kind of meh and the twist lame, but maybe just because it inspired so much modern mystery). Honestly something that's not primarily mystery but keeps you guessing with hints here and there all the way until the end by wrapping it all up nicely is good too (like Sanderson).
