Just finished the series and it seriously just ruled. Overly long, super ambitious and ballsy as hell. Pic attached was him just flexing. 5 books in and he makes it a prequel, set on an entirely new continent that's barely mentioned, yet ties it all together and tells an amazing story. Loved it.

>>25318506Deadhouse Gates was pretty sick. The entire sequence of Coltaine and the Chain of Dogs was some of the best military strategy lit I've read. Felisin's plot too was well done in that book. A lot of the stuff with Fidler and Kalam seemed to drag on and go nowhere though... I still need to start memories of ice

I hate Malazan. 500 characters and none of them have any personality other than being badass action heroes.
