>>25326630I really liked it OP. I found that this “BBC Sherlock Holmes” tier of intelligence in the book to be quite a funny satire on how brilliant we think we are that age. Of course they’re idiots, and we know that as we read it, but it really reminded me of all the kinds of cringe I was involved in at that age, and it captures it with the exact same type of ignorance I often find myself wishing I could return to.
Anyone got recs for books like this? Already read The Shards, The Magus, School of Night. Basically good suspense, first person narrative
