>>25337987Should have went with the Arberry translation.
>>25337997I don't think they had that
>don't talk about books you've read>instead post pictures of books you haven't readgreat thread OP
>>25338020Actually I've read a decent amount of those.
Dont care about Camus and Sartre, Camus specifically seems to exist to appeal to some part of the normgroid brain that doesnt care about investigation of the world, but an affirmation of their biases in just comfortable enough of a way that it doesnt seem like a circular appeal to themselves.I need to get on Focault and Heidegger asap though, have a feeling they'll help me with understanding Wittgenstein in a new way.
>>25338064I couldn't afford Witty today, not enough money
>>25338065I read books as audiobooks or pdfs now before I buy them physically

>>25339338oh yeah thanks
How many books is it acceptable to order at once
Coles has a 3 books for $10 deal lately. These editions aren't the best in terms of cover artwork or spine quality, but I'm poor and could not resist. This is 3 separate purchases stacked together.
>>25339372>I have no respect for myself: The stack
Wow you must be preparing for something very serious and important reading those particular books
>>25339372Is that a UK thing?
>>25339102I literally have the same edition because oxford collection is expensive
>>25337987Performative stacking.
>>25339585I assume you mean the Aristotle
>>25339452UK/Australia/Canada
>>25338020have you considered the possibility that the point of posting the pictures is to stir up discussion of the works in the images? or are you to low IQ for that
>25338020>being this new
Some recent purchases
>>25339760Memes aside, is Decline of the West actually worth reading?
>>25339631To be fair you should at least go into why you bought your stack and what you hope to get from it
>>25339763Yet to read it, but people I know who have say it's worthwhile. At least if you're into the esoteric side of history and civilisations and whatnot. I heard the abridged edition is best for a first time read if you're unsure you can digest the full two volumes first time round, so that's what I went with. It was also a lot cheaper.
>>25339102Paperbacks that huge give me the ick. If it's not available in hardcover at that size I would avoid buying. But each to their own.
>>25339372>10 whatever for books worth 1 or 2 coins Nigga, go to s second hand bookstore.

>>25341813I think you're dumb and that person is also dumb for thinking ever, that an analogy without context is sufficient. You are stupid dumb motherfucker that doesn't understand language or truth and communication
>>25341875I think you need to be quicker on the uptake and thats a flaw on your part. Its abrupt and spontaneous but I didn't experience any of the stumbling you seem to have trouble with.

>>25342072In truth I've only read half that pile, Jeeves and the Mouse series are new acquisitionsBut yes, Dunces is the funniest so far
>>25341878the only stumbling you do is racing to the men's room in gay bath houses because you're in a hurry to suck cock and all the urinals are occupied.
>>25342277The Platonic Wittgenstein fan, ladies and germs, don't be afraid to hold it up to the light
>>25339631>the point of posting the pictures is to stir up discussion of the works in the images?Posting pictures is quite possibly the most retarded way to accomplish that. As evidenced by the thread and the fact that nobody is talking about them.
>posting images on an imageboard is LE BADdear christ what happened to this place
