There are so many books, apart from lit meme classics how do you ever find someone who read more than one thing you read to have normal discussions?

i simulate discussions by looking up semi-obscure to extremely niche names and book titles on the warosu archives and seeing what people had to say about them here, on i listen to lectures about them on youtube if available. otherwise, tough shit. even trying to get your literate friends interested in something off the beaten path doesn't work because of the time investment it requires out of wagecucking adults
this board used to have interesting surprises like that but for the last 2-3 years it has been an absolute abyss
