She's good for picrel alone

I liked You Must Remember This and Heat quite a lot, but I have no idea why We Were The Mulvaneys got so much praise
>>
Start with her Collected Tweets
>>

i don’t get it
>Heat
JCO wrote heat? damn that’s crazy

well
she's very often wrong, but at the same time she's usually grandly, stylishly wrong
she's a salutary example of the adversary worth having
would recommend her 'On Boxing'
>>
seeing her spend her time making epic clapbacks on twitter has dissuaded me from reading any of her work

Would.

really?
>>
>>25349019
Yes. Among other reasons, because she's proud of writing fantastic literature unlike Atwood or Ishiguro.
>>
u know how u see these old popstars like madonna and cher with hot young dudes, do u think these old lit chicks like oates and paglia get dick from hot dudes on the reg? i would def dick down paglia idc.

>>
>>25349227
Is she good? I saw a book of hers in a little free library weeks ago and it's still there.
>>
>>25349022
She's a great tweeter but that doesn't really entice me to read her novels because I have so much other shit to read
>>
>>25350107
she's a pseud

Sexual Personae is mind-blowing
>>
>>25350290
Thanks, I'll go for it.
>>

She’s hot in an abusive sense. Meaning I can picture ourselves in a toxic relationship where I beat the shit out of her but her fatal attachment only grows stronger with every neck-wring and black eye I lay upon her, which then I find hot and thus perpetuates a cycle. Almost in a ‘Shelley Duvallian’ manner if you catch my drift.

Anon sewed wild oats again. This time in Oates. When will he keep his willy in his pants? When?

imo you always have to be warier of physically ugly writers. likewise my verdict on ayn rand is her key beliefs can probably be summed up in a large part to being an unattractive woman.
>>
>>25350107
What? I genuinely thought she was some mentally retarded DEI person based on her tweets. Finding out that people highly regard her writing was depressing.
>>
>>25350579
Maybe she's a man-eater.
>>

Interesting. I saw the OP pic and I saw her half-ugly yet overtly attractive and extremely expressive and pleasantly so and did find myself drawn to her, until I read the tweet, which while funny made me see her for what she is and remember her behavior and loathed her.
If anything it should make one appreciate photography as an art form which evokes inside one profound emotions without the required effort to consume which literature demands. It also reminds one to despise those aristocratic writers rich enough to have their portraits painted, for they surely were perhaps more talented but without doubt definitively more despicable than the jewish whore op posted

Forgot my pic.

blonde was actually great
i also liked black water

she's also a god tier twitterer
>>
I've been meaning to check her out, either Blonde or them. But I all I ever see in used bookstores are stacks of copies of the Oprah book and other random selections from Oates' 602346 item bibliography, most of which I assume are bland.
>>
>>25349235
>she's crazy
That's literally all you had to say.
>>

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

God damn there's nothing more hilarious than the pooner idea of what a man is
