I mean I have been through collage in the 21st century so yeah. Ain't nobody got money to spend that much on single use books that are a single download away.

Generally I avoid reading whole ass novels on the computer because it causes me eye strain. I will instead load it into a TTS if I must get through huge amounts of text on a computer screen to save myself the literal headache it would otherwise cause.

When I was much younger and my eyes less shit I would spend hours reading edgy text files on a slowly breaking CRT monitor. Which I swear is part of the reason my eyesight is so shit to this day.
