The more I read and hear from Harold Bloom, the less I respect his mind. I should have just respected the canon and then stopped.

He has the distinct piggishness and visible self-loathing that makes jews so contemptible.

You too, huh?
I'm almost halfway through The Western Canon and I have to admit that I don't care for his obsessive fanboying over Shakespeare (and to a much lesser extent Dante) and his smug contempt for Marxist literary analysis.

He looks retarded. And what merit is there in being a sycophant? There would be something to respect about him, were he someone who writes his own literature rather than fawning over the creative achievements of others.

Shakespeare is based and Marxism is gay.

Marxist literary analysis in cancerous but otherwise I agree. I'm a Shakes fanboy but Bloom relating fucking everything to Shakespeare is a bit much. His chapter on Milton disappointing me cause it was just proxy Shakespeare wank and how Milton was basically a lesser Shakespeare.

This is the video that set me off. He truly has no mind or imagination for religion. Thank God I saw this before reading his book on American religions.

you guys always talk about him so stop doing that if u want him to never be mentioned again. essentially the only literary space where i see his name mentioned, come on now
