Every religion is "true" because at the same time none of them are. They all point to the same absolute thing, as originally these traditions served as metaphors to give structure to which has no structure. However, there are ones that are "closer to it" than others, and the institutions themselves have done their best to subvert the texts and people perspectives for power struggles, which just amounted to layers of unaproachable superstition and the eventual rise of atheism. Mysticism and Philosophy are two sides of the same coin.
