I read that antimemetics book and while it's not that well written I did like the concept and the main plot twist of it, and the feeling of retracing the same old steps because you're unable to remember things. Works as a good piece of YA fiction I guess
Apart from that I'm not really familiar. I've read one about what I think was a beverage dispensing machine that could serve any liquid. Some guy asks for "a surprise" and is served a cup of supercritical water that immediately becomes steam, exploding in his face. After that he is fired. pretty funny

Finding the well written stuff is too much of a bother. Though i wish cooperative writing projects like this were more common.

They have high standards for good writing. I wish I could write like some of them.

People need to start forking this fucking wiki and create their own systems of documentation. It's come to the point that all of the later SCPs are filled with rudimentary garbage that have nothing to do with how an actual secretive organization would secure information from the rest of the world, it's just a bunch of faggots counting to 5 with categories sprinkled here and there with occasional mutations. The least some of these people could do is study FOIA documents, complex tech patents, information security systems, hell even read some of Snowden's books ... but the standards for publication are so absurdly thin that it's impossible to create anything good anymore.

Maybe people could make sovereign databases of some kind where they aren't forced to mimic the protocols of one another, nor consolidate every SCP into one universe. Whatever my ideas are, there at least needs to be some kind of an escape from this madness.

Everyone needs to be reminded nowadays: The SCP wiki is not the king of the SCP universe, just like how Apple or Microsoft is not the king of computers.

I realized that I only spoke of how SCPs are categorized. For the rest of the material, it honestly depends. But what bothers me about it specifically is how the publications of all of these writings are left to the tribune of the wiki. SCP writings deserve a sovereign place to express themselves on their own volition, not through the approvers.

never read anything related to it and not retarded enough to ever do it, so that settles that

Pretty sure it's been done years ago but I can't remember what it's called.

Found it. The "RPC Authority." It was created by people who were fed up with how trans-coded the SCP Foundation had become.

Yikes it's a heckin Redditerino Discorderino showdown!

There is nothing of value in this subculture that hasn't been recuperated or worked to death by /pol/shit.

The RPC authority reproduced the exact same issues that I complained about though. it's just the opposite of picrel at the same magnitude lol
