More like this? I greatly enjoyed the book. I thought the prose was very beautiful, despite reading it in english, waiting to hear some native french readers voice their opinions on this. Why is it not more popular, though? I seldom hear anyone talk about the book itself. Also, what's the figure the Persian saw as being "worse than the police?"
>>25356866Plays aren't that popular now.
>>25356866The OG "women love murderous psychopaths"
>>25356867Unfortunate, but I doubt readers don't engage with theatrical plays in the slightest. It's sad for how good the story is.>>25356869I'm glad Raoul got Christine in the end, and their romance was presented in a very genuine manner, adhering to the kind of fantasy you or I would have as a teenager. I especially liked the part where they "pretended" to be engaged, yet still I felt the sorrow buried deep in the short-lived fantasy they had. At the same time, I couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Erik. The persian is a mothafuking G though.
