The midwit's trinity
should i get tan shoes? all my dress shoes are black. i feel it's easier to match a belt that way. with tan, it could be a lot of different tones, but i notice the majority of dress shoe wearers wear brown even if only something like 60/40.
Or maybe, get this.. JBP and the online center-right kikeslave chud alliance he’s fostered are just dogmatic retards with zero depth
his first book was decent. his second book was unfathomably up its own ass. i will probably never read his other stuff.
>>25356964>his second book is about how to have healthy romantic relationships>everyone hates itrly makes u think
>>25356974>i haven't read the bookthats awesome kid, enjoy your warhammer podcasts
>>25356991>i dont readi know, you said that already
>>25356974>rly makes u thinkYou're right, it does. It makes think about how a brain-damaged undisciplined junkie is the last person people should be taking relationship advice from.
>>25356974i can't imagine how much of a pseud you need to be to unironically read jordan peterson
>>25357033i listened to like 45 minutes of the audiobook. it was all good advice n g l
>>25356935Jung was an intellectual titan and neitzsche’s genealogy of morals is more relevant today than ever. I agree though that dostoevsky is overrated romanticization of suffering.
>>25357038I mean, I guess his personal life advice isn't that bad, so if you read him for that, go for it, but he's not really much better than any other self-help author.
>>25357122based
>>25357122>Jung was an intellectual titan and neitzsche’s genealogy of morals is more relevant today than ever. *sips craft ipa*
>>25357135Refute either point.
How so?
>>25357219>feel empty or depressed>go online>look up advice>youtube algorithm invariably funnels you to politically correct andrew tate recommending the same 4 writers over and over
>>25357212There is no argument to refute. Just retard echoes of retards
>>25357297Alright then, good thread.
>>25357301Since you seem to have formed no actual opinion on either, care to list your who’s who of intellectual authorship instead?
>>25356935I remember how impressed I was with his articulation of the idea that uniforms are made to make you uniform 10 or so years ago when I first heard him say it.Funny now that he'd shown up wearing a suit covered in Byzantine icons talking about those filthy postmodernists and their tendency to pervert, corrupt and repurpose. Though to be fair one could tell he himself was a postmodernist as soon as he started his Bible series and found that all of the stories from Genesis atually support his innovative liberal beliefs. A bit of a shame that he went insane before anyone could properly challenge him, not that I see him debating anyone other than college students or other "classical liberals"
>>25356935>4y agoslow news day xister?
>>25356935>Nietzche>DostoyevskyAren't these opposites?
>>25357122I don't get Jung.
>>25356950Maybe like suede but not a fan of regular tan leather ones.
>>25357309There's more to it than that of course, but that's the nutshell summary.
>>25358796Well spit it out then.
>>25358753you have brown skin
>>25357505Nietzsche claimed to love Dosto but I think he was just trying to show people what a fair and impartial connoisseur he was.
>>25356935Does he have any original ideas or is it all just rehashed from classical thinkers? I don't hate the guy, he just seems superfluous if you actually have read the major works of Western lit and philosophy. Even the studies he supposedly to bring to public light are things anybody already knows about if they keep abreast of non-woke reseearch. In short, I have never have found a reason to read him, ever. I do appreciate that he pisses off a lot of people.
>>25357338I don't take the term "intellectual" seriously, because it is the equivalent of the Greek word for wiseman (sophist), or it is an adjective for cerebral
>>25356935dostoevsky seemed pretty cool
>>25356935Peterson is a piss poor Jungian, as attested by his paralysing neurotic tendencies.
