It's a good book, I myself have enjoyed it and appreciate it for dismantling the popular notion of the Soviets being able to singe-handedly win the war (whether they supposedly already did or would have been able to), but some assessments do strike as me far too radical, e.g. the active, total disregard for the battles on the Eastern Front.Despite that, I couldn't find anything which provided me with a new perspective on this book, any recommendations (direct responses to the book or indirectly dealing with the topics).
