I've had the worst, piercing headache for the past 24 hours, and I'm someone who never has headaches. At this point I would not be surprised if it turns out I have an aneurysm and I did not wake up tomorrow.

Bro I have seen that picture before. Stop doing reruns.

>>25374229
Probably because most people aren't original and just do RERUNS of old material. I hate that so much!!

I did post it in the last thread, since I took it yesterday (or the day before) but I haven't used it as an OP! I can delete this thread if it bothers you that much.

Reddit is honestly a better platform than 4chan because there's more authenticity than peformative misanthropy and cynicism.

I looked it up and that's considered a folk etymology. I tried to find any information of white being the center of a target and couldn't find anything. I only see yellow centers or no colored centers of targets, and it doesn't really translate to the usage as being a shot up close. I found the gunner's quadrant being blank more compelling because that's actually shooting something close, though I've never seen a gunner's quadrant before, so I don't know if they were actually blank at 0 but that sounds plausible.

Kinda sad every time I make a post about a book in these threads -- posts I don't feel warrant their own threads -- I always, without fail, get zero replies.

You helped Hendrik find his guar last month and he hasn't stopped talking about it since, so when I saw you standing here I thought maybe you could help me too because my cellar has rats and I've tried everything, I've tried the poison from the apothecary and I've tried shouting at them but they keep coming back and eating my dried meats. I've been standing outside this door for three days hoping you would pass by because I heard you were the kind of person who does things like this for people like me who don't have anyone else to ask, and I have some coins, not many, but I would give them to you if you could just get rid of the rats so I can sleep without hearing them scratching under the floorboards. I know it's not as grand as the other things you've done but it would mean a lot to me.

Fasted for 24 hours and just ate a meal. My head feels fuzzy now. I felt genuinely locked the fuck in at work today even though I had nothing in my body except for a couple zero calorie energy drinks. Like I got so much done it was insane. Now that I'm fed I feel lazy and sleepy.

Most of /lit/ read only the popular books. They don't delve into more niche, nuanced or contemporary ones.

In return from the market, suddenly water within my body began to cry out for exit. I guarded the gate in desperation, but at last arrived home, searched the key with trembling hands, and somehow I was able to sit on the holy white chair before the door of waters was opened.

lowkey considering dumping a large amount of my neet savings into a biotech stock. If I dont make risky plays I will never get a sizeable amount of capital.
Losing my money won't really affect me beyond the sting of a loss, and getting some money won't affect me since I am not really a material person.
But gettting A LOT of money? That could change things perhaps

No you weren't. Nobody nowhere ever asks about a stranger about their heart, especially not with the phrasing "ticker?". Maybe if you went "hows the ticker?" I would be more inclined to believe you, but as it stands you are trying to make a fool out of me and I simple can not abide by that!

As a huge Nabokov fan, I've grown less obstinate about his works as I've aged. They do lack heart, soul, and human spirituality. Exactly what you'd expect from an aristocratic, aesthete literature professor, everything is games and playful or clever and charming, rather than serious, intense, heartfelt, spiritual, relatable.

That said, the end of Lolita did make me cry when I was 14. That's the novel that really awoke me to the powers of literature. Before that, I was on my way to becoming a techno-geek. Now I'm an aspiring writer. Thanks Nabby!
>>
>>25374389
Are you that girl who disliked Ada or Ardor?
>>
>>25374395
No, I'm an anon who's been saying Ada is my favorite novel for the past decade and change on /lit/.

I'm also the right-wing Nieztsche expert :^)
>>
>>25374397
Ok you're definitely not her then because that's the Nabokov that made her disillusioned to him. She's also into Dworkin and De Beaver not Nietzsche.
>>
>>25374399
I still love Nabokov. It's just now that I'm more well-read and I understand Nabokov is an aberration and not the norm of literature, I see his flaws and can understand why others wouldn't vibe with his works.

My dogs are out.

I wonder if those serious into literature back in the day would read books like we internet moderns read 4chan and the like. Like if you could time travel and watch a day in the life of Proust or Joyce or Kafka or whomever, aside from the writing, they'd be reading 8-10 hours a day. That's a superpower I wish I could have.

Plastic surgery being developed on, for and because of mangled war veterans, only to be used almost exclusively by bougie women is almost as poetic as premodern female nudes in high art, such as goddesses, being modeled on prostitutes off the street because no self-respecting woman would ever be seen nude in front of a man that she isn't married to.
>>
It's insane how much I don't care about a fatties opinion.
To be intelligent is to be rational, to be rational is amongst other things to tame your irrational desires. Sure you can find some smart fatties, but not an intelligent one. They are all pigs
Roast 'em and make me some bacon

My sister who got me to watch some shows like Frieren said I should watch the anime Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You. The only romance anime I've ever watched was Toradora. Why do girls like romance so much? Is it their brains or the culture of being a girl? She likes Frieren but most of the anime she watches are romance. I like fantasy. I don't think I'm going to watch this one because it just seems boring to me. I also don't like literary fiction.

Everyone who was paying attention saw how 4chan became the memetic engine behind the fascist internet during the 2016 U.S. election. It was milked again for the Qanon psyop.

4chan is now obsolete because Musk bought Twitter to turn it into an even larger version of /pol/, and was successful. Today's dipshitted teen doesn't need to go to 4chan for "edgy" content. What's left of 4chan is hangers-on and schizos.
>>
>>25374524
feels like even the schizos are gone desu
