im looking for books that deeply explore and detail how lust and sexuality can motivate people toward both profoundly beautiful acts and the most depraved ones. ive been both repulsed and fascinated by this duality lately
>>25385577>sexuality can motivate people toward both profoundly beautiful acts Name one
>>25385601Not op but it's only beautiful within the context of a marriage and only from the perspective of one of those involved.
>>25385612Such sexuality would not be based on lust and concupiscence thoughever
>>25385601The entirety of human existence? Everything is ultimately about dipping one's biscuit. Disappointingly so, if I may add.
>>25385665Not really, Freud and his imitatoes abuse the hell out of natural selection and point to it as an ultimate cause of everything therefore justification for whatever nonsense idea they have so long as it pertains to fucking. Not to mention that they never (from what I've read) segregate sex and reproduction. They aren't quite the same.
>>25385612maybe lust was the wrong word but im just looking for the full spectrum of how the same sexual drive that can produce beauty and connection and self love independent of any structure can also fuel cruelty and obsession and objectification and horror
>>25385672>FreudThis is a sentiment that seems to be muttered by pop-evolution schema advocates in general.
>>25385577That's the short story collection I'm writing. It all takes place in a single city and each story follows a character representing a different facet of the theme of sexual perversion (ie not standard sex addicts who have lots of regular sex, but deviants and lascivious scoundrels) and an excess of lust. I'm not sure if it's going to contain any beauty in the traditional sense that you're looking for. I'm more about appreciating the creative potency and focused energy that can arise when a specific lustful desire has to be satisfied, particularly in situations of immoral and malevolent means and ends.
>>25385577For exactly this, Love and Responsibility by Karol Wojtyla, written before he was Pope. It's very dense.

>>25385577MY DIARY DESU *HUFF HUFF*

>>25385577Gravity's Rainbow
>>25385672Human existence is caused by humans having sex.
