I don't really get why Palomon and Arcite are in love with Emma, they literally see a glimpse of her from their prison cell. Am I supposed to be thinking that deeply or just recognise it as a motivator?
I've read this but I have very little memory of it. My Chaucer professor in college was a tall lesbian with trimmed nails except for her right pinky which was a coke nail. I think about that every time I think about Chaucer. She was very into Chaucer.
