If sacrifice is a fundamental law of creation, does God also make sacrifices, or is sacrifice a limitation unique to created, finite beings?

Why do humans always have to sacrifice something in order to gain something else? It feels, deep inside, like a fundamental reality.

For example, Giving up immediate lifestyle upgrades (such as buying a brand-new car, purchasing the latest gadgets, or eating out constantly) as your income grows or you are going to be poor, or Giving up hours of passive consumption (such as social media scrolling, binge-watching TV, or video games) or you are not going to advance in life
