Will I improve as an English language writer if I replace all words of germanic origin with their french-origin counterparts?
its exactly the other way around bud.For every latin/greek root word you are accustomed to using (like "accustom") you must find the germanic one. It's 10x higher IQ. Just read Novalis in German once and you'll see.
>>25391248What's the Saxon equivalent of "accustom", then?
>>25391254>equivalentI don't understand this word.
>>25391254Probably "wont".
>>25391254Used to, of course.
>>25391260Use is from latin
>>25391260you fucking stupid one
>>25391244absolutely. learning french has done wonders to my writing
>>25391384French words are stuffy and ungainly. Write Germanic to shoot straight.
>>25391422abysmally low IQ take, beauty is hidden in french language
>>25391422Thats one thing that sets me apart from everyone else here, I just can't bring myself to learn French.
>>25391422American or spic hands typed this post
>>25391438Why write rip-off French when French yet stands?
>>25391450Moi personnellement ça ne me pose aucun problème je parle couramment cette langue mais pour les attardés dans ton genre qui ne maîtrisent déjà pas correctement la langue de leur chienne de mère ce n'est pas vraiment une solution
>>25391465I have no clue why you're seething so hard.
>>25391244
>>25391476Can you send me a screenshot of your Google translate ? I don't think it's allowed to translate the sentence properly
