>>25398275Try Mary Renault's Alexander trilogy (Fire From Heaven, The Persian Boy, Funeral Games). Persian Boy is the faggiest. Narrated by this Persian boy (duh) who becomes Alexander's, errr, very good friend. Written pretty well and tastefully and you end up quite liking the guy.
