I sadly have to quit reading, writing and studying languages. In college I had enough time for all my hobbies including piano and sports. However, now that I am a full-time wagie, I only have time for maybe two and I am choosing sports to stay fit and playing piano as I have one at home and weekly lessons with a nice teacher.Now I am wondering. What will happen to my personality and also brain if I quit literature? Will it affect me negatively in any way?
>>25399604Piano is probably enough to keep you cognitively sharp. My grandfather lived til 90 and staved off dementia by playing piano every day. That said, you probably do have time for literature, even if you're living a 4-hour life now. In my experience of waging more, you'll have a different taste for lit (I almost never read philosophy now, for example) but not for lack of time, more due to mental exhaustion.
