Just got one of these for free. Haven't finished a book since high school from attention span reduction. Suggest some classics to put on here so I could start reading again.
>>
Start with something easy and short like Camus' The Stranger

I recommend The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. It's only like 50 pages, the language is simple and it's beautifully written. Don't beat yourself up if you can't finish it, it just means you need to end your life.

Chekhov's short stories

Now stop browsing and go read

You really don't need a human being to get recommendations for classic literature. But since you asked, I'll refuse to answer.

Literally any classic book that you've heard the name of will be good enough, and you can find them for free, win win.
>>
it is a little funny that the human mind kind of just glazes over the sticky when scrolling to the point that people don't even suggest looking at it anymore when someone asks for recs

He is asking for book specifically for a kindle though

Start with short stories and novellas from literary writers to cultivate and build your literary taste and discernment without burning yourself out on a giant novel: Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, D. H. Lawrence etc.
>>
I miss when e-book readers had physical buttons.
>>
The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling
>>
>>25401919
I just read Death of Ivan Ilyich by Tolstoy. Very short and insightful read. Recommend
>>
I recommend Neuromancer because not only is it a good read and a cyberpunk classic but because in addition to William Gibson being a talented stylist the pacing is really good and it gets hard to put down once you start reading it.

You're not going to start reading with classics. You'll get bored and give up on reading again. Readlets keep making this mistake
Read something fun instead of something you feel like you "ought to"
