Favorite bookstores? For me it's Book Barn in Niantic CT, huge selection spread across 3 locations with the main location spread over a bunch of little structures. Last time I was there they had all their schizo books (conspiracy, esotericism) in a schoolbus. Extremely charming and fun-to-browse location.

The one that's like one town over from me because it's locally owned and they used to be in my town within walking distance of my house for like 40 years until they had to move last year for some stupid reason

I have several, but Kono Books in Komaba, Tokyo, is my favorite. Going there during late afternoon in winter or autumn is delightful.
