She's completely right about the absence of Zeus and Poseidon. This is Greek Mythology, these are THE GODS, they're as much characters in these stories as any of the heroes, heroines, or villains. Nolan trying to do this weirdly detached take on the Odyssey in which the gods aren't characters is bizarre.
