The one without any text is Weiningers Sex and Character. The one below that translates to "The Life and Doctrines of Jacob Boehme". The one on the top translates to "Fascist Ideology". Don't know the exact translation from that though. Got it a few weeks ago and hope to get through it. So far I have read the one from Sternhell, the two from Kastrup and the one from Feser. Currently reading the Evola one.

>>25420497Depends on the book honestly. I had much fun reading his Doctrine of Awakening. Very dense book with lots of information. Nice explanation of the history, practices, theory, etc.I am about 30 % through his Revolt Against the Modern World right now. It is not as fun though. He currently explain how the Traditional world worked back then. But it is like 10 % of general statements, which make sense, but the rest is "empirical evidence" of how this certain aspect worked in different Traditional societies. That is a writing style I always dislike, because you only get certain parts of a Tradition without having a deep understanding of it. Feels a little similar to Eliades Sacred and Profane or Myth of Eternal Return, if you know them. I like to understand a System as a whole, like he explained in Doctrine of Awakening, and not small parts ripped out of it to explain a general aspect of Traditionalism. I dropped his book about the Hermetic Tradition, because he himself wrote it kinda all over the place. I think he wanted to "hide" the Tradition too, like they did back then. Little structure and just a stream of consciousness. But many people claim it to be his best book somehow. This is why I have Paracelsus and especially Jacob Boehme in the stack too. He quoted Boehme a lot in this book IIRC and I want a more basic understanding of him first, to tackle Hermetic Tradition again. His Fascism Viewed from the Right was interesting, but my first book. I didn't know his political opinion yet, so I didn't understand everything. Will tackle this after Revolt again. Similar with Handbook for the Right Wing Youth, although these are mostly random essays some people put together. A little less interesting though. It has honestly been a mixed bag for me. But something always draws me back to him. I definitely will read more of him.

But occasionally you get some genuinely interesting ideas like his view of souls and cultures and race in the overworld in Revolt, where they're both temple and riverbed. Meditations on the peaks is a little sad, mystery of the grail can be summed up as 'proper initiation and proper reading and daring gets you to the grail, which isn't really a grail'. Doctrine of Awakening is actually a bit of a banger. I've skimmed his magic books and I wish he explained things, like why you must lay down facing east. He genuinely believed his stuff too, which is more than you can say for most writers of that sort of thing.I'd get a pdf of Revolt and go from there if it interests you.
