Im more into poetry.i used to be real into over complicating things, i would get the theme, theme statement, subject, tone, meter, rhyme, and i would think about all this stuff and think of a bunch of other things.But then i read Kerouac's rules about writing, first thought best thought, instead of thinking of words, think of a movie in your head then write down the words to describe it, to blow on the topic or theme or memory or subject like a jazz player and write a stream of consciousness now when i do write im writing super fast, and its just flowing out. i do edit later though
