I thought of Elric of Melnibonee today, well actually more about the Aenar Targaryen being an abolitionist and choosing to destroy Valyria to end slavery ones and for all, like Thaedus from Invincible, but Elric was the first such character.And it really dawned on me, these people might actually really believe that, maybe George R.R. Martin not as much despite what people would say about him being a hippie(he seems pretty split between woke, classic sfnf and a real appreciation for European history and myth) and Kirkman just makes a synthesis between Thaedus and Thragg and is a hack, but Moor Cock certainly did, and many people of his time, and even more today seem to really believe this.Just think about this for 10 minutes, really think deeply about destroying your entire civilization and believing it to be a better choice over continuing slavery, that means that the idea of slavery, or rather the care for the enslaved people overpowers the love for your own men.After this thought, the conclusion should be that these people are imbeciles, no matter how much they read or achieve in life, they go against their own interests, "the psyche overpowered the genes" it sounds romantic, defeating your biological imperative, until you realize the majority of these woke people are lumpenproles and not some intellectual giants like Marx and Lenin, these aren't their own thoughts, and kin selection is a fragile thing in our modern world since it relies both on an immediate instinct but also this instinct creates a greater cultural shield on top of a closely knit group.Thus we are fucked, since it gets worse day by day.>tl;dr: idk why i wrote all these, basically just think about how many people would choose a group of strangers, not like some gang from the other village, but a group they have absolutely nothing in common with, zero, void, over their own families, and let the horror dawn on you, feel inexplicable fear and panic while thinking somebody feels that way, concentrate on such a thought and how such people bring not only nothing to society, but they take from it and make cracks
