Thoughts on "Galahad and The Grail" by Malcolm Guite? I like it so far, it's clearly an attempt at a "modern" Arthurian story and is heavily influenced by Tolkien, Lewis and the other Inklings. I like that it doesn't ignore the religious dimension of the Grail stories.

why would he write "modern" Arthurian story, what does that mean? Does Arthur have an iPhone17? What's wrong with the original Arthurian stories? Or did he try to dumb them down and write them in plain english for the zoomies?

I mean it's written in more modern English as opposed to a deliberatly archaic style.
