Saying Gravity's Rainbow is the last great novel simply exposes an addiction to historical maximalism. You haven't read my work in progress "Still". It is a book about time, or rather, time as a book. It is temporal duration rendered as codex. Modiano taught us that what isn't written carries the true load, so I’ve stripped the prose down to its absolute zero, as in, entire pages consist of singular, dense paragraphs that move with the brutal, inexorable weight of tectonic plates, surrounded by vast, echoing gulfs of negative space. White margins that aren't blankness, not in the conventional sense. Rather, they're the silence of lost hours. It remains unwritten in the conventional sense but as an act of pure temporal architecture, it’s already complete. Will come out in the future.

Is this hard to get into as an ESL or should i get a french version to comprehend it? i imported ''Cying lot 49'' and while it's pretty short, it was pretty hard to understand and required multiple reads to grasp, are his other works more accessible?

In terms of difficulty:
Gravity's Rainbow >> V. > CoL49 > Vineland
With GR being roughly Ulysses tier (minus Proteus and Oxen). Definitely read V. first, as that will help you start to grasp his style. Plus there are returning characters/themes.
