Is anonymous collaborative writing now officially dead? The sole value of the project is people coming together. Prior to the age of AI, even if the writing was shit you knew it was human. Now, nothing can be trusted to be human and it's impossible to verify with certainty.

The point has already been made, and it's never going to be about making something "good" so much as it is to witness an outgrowth of the circumstances.I've wondered if a format that disallowed copy-paste would be enough of an impasse to prevent AI spam, but anyone going that far should re-think what they want from it and how it works entirely. Besides AI, what's new about the internet to actually say or do with a similar method? And one way or another you'll have to contend with AI infecting it, so it may be best to do things that impede it but ultimately be self-aware about the possibility (and opt to comment on it in-text rather than try to strip it out entirely, just like any of the Tundra authors referencing each other fucking up the doc/narrative in the Old Ways or otherwise alluding to the nature of the thing).The /v/ numbered re-paintings I've seen seem like one thing that could work well on /lit/ still. Take a short story or novella, number the paragraphs, and let anons pick what they re-write.
