I've never really seen any other philosophical position so demonized and hated by many different people. Why can't one simply admit that humans are, like other great apes, extremely violent, brutal, have hierarchy (even in the absence of private property)?
If we admit that it's our base nature, then that means we're stuck like this, and it's our fault.

But we're also capable of extreme compassion, love, patience, all of it. But it's still a fundamentally irrational and unreasonable one. It says a lot about how blackpilled society and popular culture is that the seven deadly sins is a 1000x more widely known than the seven heavenly virtues; people wanna be assholes and justify it in their heads as, "they would've done the same to me!" instead of just taking responsibility and pouring more good into the world.
