Whenever I read Marx I have a hard time understanding him unlike Engels or Lenin. What should I read first? Is there a guide?

However the Carew Hunt book was the basic introductory text to Marxism at British universities from 1950s the 1980s early 90s so practically every current older left-winger in Britain read and studied it.Also of course for primary sources read The Communist Manifesto.And the selections from Marx in this anthology:Reader in Marxist Philosophy: From the Writings of Marx, Engels and Lenin - Howard Selsam and Harry Martel
