"Nuclear War: A Scenario" was a five-star book for me. I'm about halfway done with this one, and it's sitting at three stars. There's a lot of interesting insights about the threat of biological weapons I didn't know, but the book feels like a rehashing of what the world experienced with COVID-19, which has me convinced, now more than ever, that it came from a lab leak. I took it because I guess I assumed I trusted the system because of the Spanish flu but when I asked my doctor about it, she didn't know much about mRA vaccines and she just assumed they worked fine. Covid period was a nothing burger to me though, just empty highways and diving around. Idk why people hate that period.
