My book wasnt shelved in local bookstores or supermarkets despite them having worse scoring books from the same publisher in the aisles. Could be ordered though. Does that make my book banned enough?

I'm gonna guess it was banned from some state at some point for being pornographic, but now they want you to think it was banned because it's prophetic and will definitely happen if we don't do anything (which women secretly find hot as fuck).

1) It's not lies.
2) People still translate 'lies' for a variety of reasons, and this is common knowledge. A specific reason isn't needed or necessary.
>>
>>25458655
in the west the major publisher printing is intentionally overpriced and, i think, only available in hardcover. i think the logic is that it tries to limit purchase to academics but i don't see why a hardcore nazi would mind paying extra for their central text, it just disincentivizes the ordinary general reader from buying it.
>>
>>25459037
Pretty sure the majority of men not passing on their genes has been the status quo for most of humanity's existence. Natural selection has to work somehow.
>>
>>25460033
Are you using "natural selection" in the loaded way lay-people use, where they thing there is some mythical "end of biology" towards which evolution progresses?
Regardless, humans engage in natural, social and sexual selection, none of which are inherently good or bad.
>>
you know the whole banned books thing is 99% of the time just about various books being banned from schools because some random mom bitched about it right. these are marketing tactics and they're aimed at children who can't get whatever book in their local school districts and normies who want to feel like rebels by consooming. most of the time the books are being banned for somehow being anti-christian, pornographic, or encouraging homosexuality when the book in question is like "fido goes to the supermarket!"
>>
Tintin in Africa (or in Kongo).
No banned, but they silently removed it from all tintin collections and it is very hard to buy a copy.
>>
>>25458655
>Those books aren't banned
It's illegal to own The Turner Diaries in my country and certain translations of Mein Kampf are almost impossible to attain. Modern censorship consists of deamplificaiton and limiting visibility.

A random school in the middle of nowhere will have a meeting where some parent says something like "why are kids reading this and not that" (the audacity of them caring about their children's education!!) so the libtard/leftoid coalition presents it as a grand cause célèbre and eventually it gets turned into a marketing gimmick. Modern censorship is done by shadowbanning and selective amplification/deamplificaiton. For example, a publisher sued Indigo because they refused to shelve a book about the Trucker Protest that was actually selling well online. The lawsuit obviously served to market the book but Indigo having to tie itself in knots to justify not granting shelf space to a book that was selling better than books on the same subject they did promote that way was hilarious.

Anyway, it's kind of crazy how much political mileage libtards get out of making dimwits maintain the cognitive dissonance that they're part of an oppressed class while being able to attend university, lol. They sell them a pseudo-rebellion that really just props up the status quo and like retards they lap it up.
>>
>>25460559
>For example, a publisher sued Indigo because they refused to shelve a book about the Trucker Protest that was actually selling well online.
I wasn't aware that a private business was under any legal obligation to shelve any particular book.
>>
>>25460565
It might not have been a lawsuit but it was in the news around the same time they were suing some pro-Palestinian group for boycotting them (the boycott was called "Indigo Kills Kids" so Indigo sued them for copyright infringement for using their name).

Anyway, it's hilarious watching libtards/leftoids justify corporate censorship as long as it it's wielded against things they dislike.
>>
>>25460574
I'm not making any value judgement for or against, just pointing out that I know of no such legal precedent and I don't see how it could be enforced in a remotely workable way.
>>
>>25460580
>I'm not making any value judgement for or against
Sure you are. It's a common argument retarded leftoids parrot while maintaining the cognitive dissonance they're anti-censorship and against corpocracy. The truth is you're not just cool with it but actively endorse it while still somehow managing to convincing yourselves you're fighting against the system and rebelling against the status quo. It's hilarious.
>>
>>25460589
Nah, I think people have a right to buy whatever book any other person will sell them, I just don't see how a legal mandate to carry certain books is supposed to work in practice.
>>
>>25460591
You're not fooling anyone, retard.
>>
>>25460599
So how exactly do you think the problem in question should be dealt with? Genuinely asking.
>>
>>25460602
Repeal hate speech laws, defund state sponsored news agencies, limit the ability of advertisers to target ads (aside from the privacy issues it's a backdoor uses to demonetize and thereby disincentivize content), mock people who think the books in OP are actually banned, and disallow hidden shadowbanning/selective amplification/deamplificaiton by making the purveyors of social media networks openly tag such alongside the other existing metrics that are clearly visible to users.
>>
>>25460589
>>25460599
Sucks that you come across so needlessly tribalistic to the point of fabricating enemies because >>25460614
this is pretty based. Though I would counter that hate speech vs hate crimes are different and the latter is a necessary distinction to clarify why, say, spray-painting swastikas on a synagogue to intimidate the residents of a Jewish neighborhood is different from spray-painting cocks like other basic acts of petty vandalism. Would also say that I do not necessarily trust private entities to provide news over state-sponsored ones, but that is more of a problem with determining what news or truth are actually considered rather than a preference for either. It is quite strange how state-sponsored media is not seen as abnormal in parts of the West, but that might be from a legacy of associating it with funding grants rather than top down explicit communication control.
>>
>>25460663
>Sucks that you come across so needlessly tribalistic
Don't parrot stupid arguments and play dumb after being called out on it then, dumb fuck.
>Though I would counter that hate speech vs hate crimes are different
I never said hate crimes and hate speech are the same thing, retard. Also, "hate" as an aggravating factor in a crime is a retarded concept. As far as
>spray-painting swastikas on a synagogue to intimidate the residents of a Jewish neighborhood
goes, intimidation is already a crime.
>Would also say that I do not necessarily trust private entities to provide news over state-sponsored ones, but that is more of a problem with determining what news or truth are actually considered rather than a preference for either
That's why you don't have the government in charge of the news you naive retard.
>It is quite strange how state-sponsored media is not seen as abnormal in parts of the West
There's constant backlash towards it that has been steadily increasing over the last decade. Are you living under a rock?
>a legacy of associating it with funding grants rather than top down explicit communication control
Sure, retard. The people paying your bills have no control over your behavior and we should all trust the government as the ultimate arbiters of truth and the flow of information.
>>
>>25460696
I am not the anon you were responding to. I am elsewhere in the thread, and I did not say hate crimes were the same thing as hate speech. I also never said half of what you are reacting so emotionally too. Your constant aggressive defensiveness is fascinating. Like a woman but peppering in a retard and faggot every so often to try to fit in with the men. Are you always like this? You do not seem to read very well for being on the /reading/ board. Guess that would be pretty par for the course though.

>>25460591
You notice he never addressed this, anon? Why should private enterprise be legally compelled to sell or display a specific type of literature in any amount? That is the definition of the government meddling in the free market. If your books are not selling, perhaps that is the whim of the market and the will of the people rather than government or corporate suppression? This applies equally to left wing and right wing literature. It seems evident from average consumer reading habits that people prefer escapism to being preached to. Or is all political literature being systematically suppressed by The Man in favor of endless cozy adventure x dark romance foidslop?
>>
>>25460709
>I did not say hate crimes were the same thing as hate speech
I never said you did. Not reading the rest because you're obviously retarded.

>>25458649
The Camp of the Saints has actually always kind of interested me. Not for any political reasons, just the dystopian, yet eerily topical premise in general seems kinda cool. Is it worth reading? And as a western European, will I be put on a list if I order this book from Amazon?
>>
>>25460884
It's an amazing book, both prescient, coherent, and very well written. And suspenseful as fuck too. I'd get an epub or buy it with cash in a bookstore if I were you, you never know. It's unapologetically racist, I'm still a little surrpised to see it sold openly where I live (France)

That meme reminded me of going into a Half Price Books and looking through the rare / antique section and seeing literally a lot of those books (including Siege) because some old nazi died and his family sold his collection. There was even a copy of Imperium by Yockey going for around $1,000 behind lock and key. I felt like I was hallucinating because it was in a store that looked exactly like that. I flipped through Siege a bit and have to say it didn't read like a literary masterpiece. It read like pornography.

>>25460696
>I never said hate crimes and hate speech are the same thing, retard. Also, "hate" as an aggravating factor in a crime is a retarded concept. As far as ... goes, intimidation is already a crime.
Well it's an aggravating factor because the U.S. government really does not want you attacking synagogues or mosques or churches or Mormon temples to terrorize whatever religious congregation is in there, so they will throw you in prison. The U.S. is funny like that because censorship really doesn't come from the government as much as it does in many countries, but there's quite a lot of it as a form of peer pressure from other people in the society, and in the private realm of employment, like you could lose your job since there's at-will employment and political beliefs are not a protected category from employment discrimination (which also gives you the right to fire the libtards if you own the company). There's no recognized state religion either. But the moment you fuck with religious congregations or vandalize their stuff for some sectarian reason, it's curtains. The state is really remorseless about this and they will hunt you down and lock you up. This has destroyed a lot of minor neo-nazi gangs over the years because eventually they work their way up to throwing a Molotov cocktail at a synagogue or a mosque or firing a few shots through the windows which gets them GTA five stars from local police + the local state/federal joint counter-terrorism task force.

Anyone have an Audiobook of Mein Kampf? helps me study
>>
>>25460565
Indigo bought the book on a consignment contract where the publisher would have to buy them back if customers didn't buy the books.
indigo intentionally stifled purchases to harm the publisher.
You probably already understood this, but wanted to act otherwise for some dishonest and predictable reason.
>>

Theres no such thing as banned books. The internet exists and you can get pretty much anything on ebay. Mein Kampf is in every book store and the copy of Michael in that picture is a print from like 2024 that you can still get for 20 dollars.

Why? Asking genuinely.
>>
>>25462316
I thought it was poorly written, like a fanfic. Most events, and the book as a whole are used as a way to write about killing niggers. Some people might find it cathartic I guess but its not actually good book by any means. Thats all even more true for any of Harold Covington's books.
>>
>>25458849
why would they ban there is no antimemetics division

I'm sure there's enough audio to create Mechahitler and have it narrate Mein Kampf
