>>25462680>Didn't name it "no foids allowed" editionWhat a waste
>>25462687The joke in the OP is far more important than your simping and/or reverse simping
Almost done with draft 2, then draft 3 I need to rewrite the dialogue because it all sucks
>>25462686Seeming a bit obsessed here, mate.
Why not write with AI?
>>25462737Only seeming? Thanks for being polite, but even I will freely admit that I am fucking enthralled by Boor, he is a fascinating character
At least wait until page 7 before starting a new thread. Bet you're a premature ejaculator, too.

>>25462680What is your approach to dialogue? Gentlemen and larpers.Do you focus on it being entertaining? Realistic?, in conveying important information? In making it memorable?I personally find myself really struggling to not add random bullshit the reader does not care about just to make it realistic, I despise things like "Ohh this is all for the sake of my secret goal" dialogue holy it gets my blood boiling, but now I get why the authors stooped so low, doing it naturally and in an entertaining way is hard!
>>25462833>>25462836You have the comeback skills of a kindergartner.
>>25462848I'm working with what you're giving me
>>25462845I try to make it good and have good characters
>>25462845>things like "Ohh this is all for the sake of my secret goal" dialogueFeels like you either missed the point or were taught it incorrectly. The point is subtext. If your dialogue only works on the surface level and doesn't gesture at a much deeper bottom of the iceberg, it's flat.
>>25462860This but to clarify at least in my case by "good" I mean high-quality and not necessarily morally righteous
>>25462680I'm the guy who wrote Corndog Zen. I'm gonna release a short story collection in september. I'll probably post it for you guys for free if you want to read it. I have a novel that a small publisher is currently looking at. We'll see what happens with that one. It might end up self-published too. I tried the querying thing, and it's so supremely blackpilling.
