Why didn't you tell me that learning math was an important part of being /lit/ years ago? Learning it is such a lenghty process.
Explain
AOPS Prealgebra -> AOPS Introduction to Algebra -> Hammack’s Book of Proof -> Zeitz’s The Art and Craft of Problem Solving -> Spivak’s CalculusThey should give you enough foundation to tackle anything in math. A lot of math textbooks, even advanced graduate ones, are self-contained. They just expect certain level of algebra + proof writing + problem solving skills.

>>25469355>>25469719Not OP, but here are a book and a thread where what OP says is true:>>25468700
>>25469350>Learning it is such a lenghty process.Only if you're dumb and started old.
>>25469824Just the latter. Learning math up to say, a math major level, will be a very lengthy process if you're legit starting at basic arithmetic. But of course how long it takes in general depends on how much you already know and how far you're trying to go with it.
