Why are these books so fucking expensive?
Are they written in golden ink or something?
I just want an exhaustive, citable and critically acclaimed version of Hegel’s body of work in the original language.
Is that really too much to ask without having to sell a kidney?

Books are not for the poor. How many times do I need to tell you this?

Worth it.

>Ordering the hardcover books on linen instead of the pdf
If you are attending uni, you get free access if your uni has the loicenses

>you get free access if your uni has the loicenses
Big if true but highly doubt.
Where did you find the option for that?
>>

its a critical Gesamtausgabe. The common man is not supposed to require this. These are printed for Uni Profs and I mean genuine Professors who hold a faculty chair, not the anglo where every phd gets called a prof.

It's supposed to scare the posers away. If you want to waste your life reading philosophy (nonsense), then shell out your paycheck and impress other losers online.

Sounds like gatekeeping knowledge to me.

>tfw when Z is missing enough Hegel to fill a fucking shelf
This is really triggering my autism.

Here's what's missing:
PART 1 – WRITINGS & DRAFTS
>Vol 2 (Frühe Schriften II)
>Vol 5 (more early bullshit)
>Vol 10-2 (only have 10-1)
>Vol 11
>Vol 16
>Vol 18
>Vol 22
PART 2 – LECTURES
>Vol 24-1, 24-2 (only have 24-3, where the fuck are they)
>Vol 26-1 MISSING
>Vol 27-1, 27-4 MISSING
>Vol 30-4 MISSING
SUPPLEMENTS
>31-1 and 31-2 are both there. supplements are complete. based.

Go to your uni bib database and search for the title. There will be everything listed that your uni has licenses for. Actually you can go to any uni bib database and search for stuff. The only problem is that you don't have access to their resources

Nope. Computer says no. Being trapped inside academia really is good for nothing.

Too bad. Here would be a link to what I meant from an american university library

They are not meant to be bought for individual use but rather for university libraries to get a set for reference work. That is also why some academia-oriented publishers like Brill or De Gruyter are so ludicrously priced.
