I try not to be a snob anymore, but sometimes I see grown men reading graphic novels and pulp genre fiction in public and I feel such intense disgust and secondhand embarrassment. I hate my life. I hate where I live and I hate my partner. I quit my job several months ago because I hated that too. I was filled with regret because the job paid well and asked very little of me.
